The Kingdoms of Magic Book 4 Excerpt
Queen Elise says, “I’m Queen Elise of Nor. This is my domain you are invading.”
Commander Tasack is shocked and exclaims, “You are the one we are after!! How fortunate for us.”
Queen Elise says, “You have two choices, turn around and go home or die here today. Most of your ships are already burring as you can see from the view behind you.”
He turns and looks at all the ships that are on fire. “There is no hope for your fleet this day or for you in this battle. I have powers at my command that will destroy you where you stand.
What shall it be?”
Commander Tasack, taken aback, answers, “I have never had anyone give me a choice in battle. I honor that as a warrior,” he bows, “but we are sworn by oath to follow the orders of our
commander no matter what devastation is around us. My men are all born warriors. Even though you outnumber us we will take many of you with us if not most. We have no choice in this.”
Queen Elise says, “I don’t think you understood me Commander. I will take you out where you stand!”
Commander Tasack looks at his men who look eager to fight and says, “I honor you but we will fight to the death!”
